The add-on module derives power from trainer
through mounting screws. The screws on the
four corners derive +5V, -5V, +12V and -12V
respectively. Each one of these screws has
an adjacent LED. When the cap is tightened
over the screw, the corresponding DC voltage
become available and the LED glows. This
feature eliminates user’s inconvenience of
extending jumper wires between trainer and
add-on module for DC supplies.
