DEV-2787 Virtual Instrumentation

  • Parallel Port A 25-pin male jack for connecting to the parallel port of a PC.
     
  • Pin Out Socket A 25-pin female socket for extending input/output of parallel port to connections on the trainer.
     
  • Range Knob for selecting the frequency range of the function generator waveform out of 100Hz, 1KHz, 10KHz and 100KHz.
     
  • Amplitude Knob for varying the amplitude of the function generator output waveform.
     
  • Function Knob used to select one of the three output waveform types: sine, square and triangular.
     
  • Waveform Socket for function generator output waveform.
     
  • Clock Socket for clock generator output.
     
  • Logic Switches Six logic switches for providing TTL logic levels high (5V) and low (0V) at the corresponding output point of the sockets.
     
  • Digital Input/Output Six sockets for output of the logic switches and providing logic input.
     
  • Bread Board For electronic/digital circuit patching.
     
  • Seven Segment Display.
     
  • BCD Input for 7-segment display.
     
  • Speaker Volume Control .
     
  • Probe LED’s Two LED’s for indicating TTL High or Low levels picked up by the logic probes.

  • Mic In Female sockets of 10 connections for connecting to the output of a Mic on the trainer.
     
  • Temperature Sensor Reads temperature in degrees Kelvin with scale of 10mV/şK. Temperature OUT can be taken from the 10-pin female socket placed adjacent to the temperature sensor.
     
  • GND Socket for ground.
     
  • - 12VDC Socket for -12VDC±10% fixed.
     
  • - 5VDC Socket for -5VDC±10% fixed.
     
  • +12VDC Socket for +12VDC ±10% fixed.

  • Micro-controller Socket to house the Atmel 89C5x series micro-controller with sockets to extend its pin connections to the breadboard.
     
  • RS-232 port for serial interface to a PC serial port.

  • Trigger H-->L and L-->H triggers by pressing the keys.

  • L-Spk Volume control for LHS speaker.
     
  • R-Spk Volume control for RHS speaker.
     
  • Digital Gain Three selector switches for selecting gain in 3-bit binary form of the channel selected by the Multiplexer.
     
  • Channel Selector Two selector switches for selecting 2-bit binary number of channel.
     
  • Differential Analog Inputs Channels Input of Analog Multiplexer.
     
  • Signal Conditioning for the multiplexed channel.
     
  • PC Speaker Interface For SoundDAQ Interface for Left and Right speakers of PC.
     
  • Input A/D Input of Analog to Digital Converter.
     
  • Acquisition Data acquisition block.
     
  • Anti-Aliasing Filter.
     
  • Analog To Digital Socket for extending digital output of ADC.
     
  • Digital To Analog Input socket for Digital to Analog Converter.
     
  • Potentiometer 0 to 80K?+20% variable resistor.

  • Relay: One electronic relay that operates with 5VDC.
