DEV-2752 may also be
used as a flexible tool for the
practical introduction into the
design, operation and application of
controllers in general. Significant
feature of this training system is
that the student can see the system
oscillate by adding disturbance to
it. The apparatus comprises;
- A DC servo
motor.
- Tacho
generator.
- Fly wheel,
- Drive ratio
control unit
- A D.C
position motor all mounted and
coupled on a single mechanical
assembly.
- Different
switches, controls and
interfaces are provided on a
separate digital control unit
placed on
standard RIMS housing.
- The student
can also control the speed,
feedback level, noise level,
proportional gain and actuator
power and can monitor motor
speed on the LCD.
- The trainer
can be interfaced with a PC
through a serial port interface;
it comes with RIMS INSTEP
(Interactive Self Training &
Experimentation Package).
